Routine Monoblock Care
The purchase of paving is long term investment and to maintain its appearance, periodic cleaning is essential.
Regular brushing to prevent the build-up of detritus is advised. Newly completed areas of paving should only receive a light brushing in the early months to allow joints to settle naturally. From then on, general cleaning of paved areas should be carried out regularly. Surface cleaner is recommended after a period of time depending on local conditions to avoid damage to blocks. Sanding and re-sealing revives driveways, paving and blocks to their original condition and needs to be carried out after cleaning is completed.
MAINTENANCE OF WEEDS & GRASS IN MONOBLOCK
Remove as soon as they appear, during dry period in spring and autumn. Weeds are easily controlled as long as they are regularly attended to Weed and grass growth can be attacked with a proprietary weed killer, at the customer’s discretion, which is available from DIY outlets, builder’s merchants and hardware stores. Always take care to follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
